With time, the tea also has evolved in its, taste, flavor, color, ingredients and process of making. It is a herbaceous plant that produces flowers of blue cornflower, red cornflower, white cornflower, rose cornflower and pink cornflower too. There are many names of this miraculous herb like a bachelor’s button, blue bow, blue cap, blue poppy, bluebonnets, etc.
The cornflower is found and cultivated in abundance in the south-eastern country of Albania. It requires full sun and grows best in porous, dry or moist soil with 30 inches of height and 12 inches radius. It is grown from June to August and the seeds ripen from August to October.

Also, in middle ages, famous Italian painters of the early renaissance used cornflowers to symbolize the Virgin Mary like the famous painting named “Birth of Venus” by Sandro Botticelli. This was due to its healing powers and soothing color and texture.
