How is the distillation of essential oil carried out?
The method is called hydro distillation which is of 3 types- water distillation, water, and steam distillation, and direct distillation through steam.
In water distillation the plant material like submerged in water and heated to be boiled. It is then condensed and cooled to get the oil separated from the water.
Likewise, the other two methods also are used to wet the plant product and to separate the oil through water or steam.
